Belton's floor plans

While several floor plans exist for the upper ground and first floors, only 20th century plans survive for the basement and 2nd floor. No historical plan exists for the the windowless attic/3rd floor or Offices.

This section uses Belton's inventories of 1688, 1698, & 1737 to determine how the many rooms on all these floors were used, likewise with the Offices. The 1698 inventory points to the site of an octagonal banqueting house.
